Ensuring CHKD’s unique mission is recognized through federal and state advocacy as well as through marketing and public relations efforts.
Responsibilities
Sampson is responsible for CHKD’s development department, government relations, mental health, Child Abuse
Program, strategic planning and business development, volunteer services, patient education, patient experience, The King's Daughters Milk Bank at CHKD, community outreach, physician liaisons, the call center and the Gift Shop.
Background
Sampson joined CHKD in 1990 as director of public relations.
Education
Sampson received her Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Communications Studies from the University of Virginia, where she was a Jefferson Scholar.
