Chief Operating Officer
Duties
As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Harding is responsible for operational and support services at CHKD and oversees patient care services, ancillary services, physician practice management, human resources, and facilities and support services.
Background
- Prior to joining CHKD, Mr. Harding was the Vice President of Operations at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. He has also served as an administrator at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, and in other ambulatory and practice management roles.
- He has also worked in the hospitality industry and as a volunteer firefighter/paramedic.
Education
- Mr. Harding received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgetown University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland.
- He is a graduate of the Advisory Board Academy Fellowship Program, and has completed an intensive inter-professional executive education program offered by Johns Hopkins University entitled “Transforming Health Systems for Accountable Care”.
