HAMPTON ROADS, VA – CHKD Medical Group, the pediatric practice group of Children’s Health System, Inc. which operates Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, has elected its 2016 Board of Directors. Dr. Steven Stolz and Dr. Bobby Garrison have both been re-elected to serve as chairman and vice-chairman, respectively.

Kathryn Abshire, vice president of finance at CHKD, will serve as secretary and treasurer for the board. Dr. Doug Mitchell serves as the medical director for CHKD Medical Group. Other members of the board include Dr. Dean Cauley, Dr. John Cawthorn, Dr. John Harrington and Dr. Scott Nottingham.
