HAMPTON ROADS, Va. – Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters is pleased to welcome the following new pediatric specialists to Children’s Specialty Group.

News Releases_Melissa MarkDr. Melissa Mark has joined the hematology/oncology department. Dr. Mark earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed residency training at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters, followed by two fellowships at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for pediatric hematology/oncology, and pediatric hospice and palliative care. Dr. Mark is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She also serves as co-medical director for Edmarc Hospice for Children in Hampton Roads.

 

News Releases_Ami MehtaDr. Ami Mehta has joined CHKD to develop a new pain and palliative care program. Dr. Mehta received her medical degree from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She completed her residency at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters and her fellowship at Akron Children’s Hospital. Dr. Mehta is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

 

 

Children’s Medical Group Welcomes New Primary Care Pediatrician

Children's Medical Group is pleased to welcome the following new primary care pediatrician.

News Releases_Imani EichelbergerDr. Imani Eichelberger has joined Hampton Roads Pediatrics. Dr. Eichelberger received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, and completed her residency at CHKD. A native of Albany, N.Y., she came to Hampton Roads to attend Hampton University, where she learned about CHKD, and fell in love with the hospital’s commitment to children and their families. Her clinical interests are newborn care and child nutrition.
