Paula Raube, CPNP

"As a mom of two young girls, I approach my patient care as I would appreciate a provider doing so with my children. I strive to empower families and patients to understand their diabetes and to feel confident in the management of their condition."

Bio

Raube specializes in the care of pediatric diabetes patients as well as patients with thyroid disorder. She works with patients and their families in maintaining a healthy life while managing diabetes.

Previously an RN on the CHKD inpatient unit where diabetes is cared for, Raube worked with many families in the first days of diagnosis and during their recovery from acute exacerbations. She is proud to now play a bigger role in this process as a provider with an exceptional team of physicians and diabetes center staff.

Additionally, Raube is the primary provider for CHKD's START adolescent transition clinic, in which she works with diabetes educator Debbie Miles and social worker Andi Decenzo to educate and assist adolescents in transitioning to adult care.
