Bio
Prior to attending physician assistant school, Burke worked
in the central testing department at Norfolk General Hospital as a clinical lab
assistant and then transferred to local family and internal medicine office where she worked in the outpatient lab. prior to PA school.
She always had a love for working with kids and volunteered with child life at CHKD as an undergraduate, at which point she fell in love with the CHKD community and its mission. During pediatric
rotations while in PA school, she found her calling with CHKD's orthopedic surgery and sports medicine department.
She enjoys all things outdoors, riding her beach cruiser, and gardening in her spare
time.
