What work-up is needed prior to the first appointment?

No pre-referral work- up is required for most conditions. The patient should bring any related imaging studies with pathology results, office notes or other pertinent information faxed to 757-668-7711.  Please include the appointment date and time on the fax to ensure timely processing. 

When will my patient be able to obtain an appointment?

The Craniofacial Team meets every Tuesday; your patient will be seen at the earliest appointment available.

Which provider will see my patient at the first appointment?

Patients can see several specialists in one visit depending on the individual patient needs.  This multispecialty approach allows for a thorough and collaborative approach to ensure each and every need of the patient is being addressed.

Where will my patient be seen?

The craniofacial team meets at CHKD in Downtown Norfolk on the 5th floor of the hospital.
