Bio
Moore has been providing clinical services at CHKD since 2015.
She provides crisis-oriented interventions in the Emergency Department, often utilizing short-term, solution-focused approaches when working with children, adolescents and/or their families. Additionally, Moore assesses for basic needs, gives community resource information, makes appropriate referrals, conducts mental health evaluations, provides treatment recommendations as well as assist with psychiatric placement and/or other mental health services as needed.
Moore, thoroughly enjoys working with marginalized populations in an acute care setting. Likewise, being part of a multidisciplinary team helps ensure the continuum of care for each individual served.
Upon graduation, Moore joined CHKD as a medical social worker, working primarily in General Academic Pediatrics and Infectious Disease clinics. Moore, continues to facilitate a monthly support group that focuses on supporting the siblings of individuals with disabilities.
