Bio
Jernigan joined CHKD after completing
a fellowship in pediatric urgent care through EVMS and CHKD.
After a career as an high-school educator and
athletic trainer, Jernigan turned her attention to working as a physician
assistant. Years of
working with adolescents solidified her passion for pediatrics and desire to be
part of the continuing medical care of the adolescent population served by
CHKD.
