Bio
Hughes-Calhoun
began her nursing career in Gainesville, FL, where she worked in
medical-surgical and operating-room nursing. She then transitioned into the pediatric intensive care unit at UF Health Shands Hospital.
After completing
her nurse practitioner program through the University of Florida, she
returned to her hometown of Jacksonville to work in pediatric primary
care.
Hughes-Calhoun
moved to Virginia Beach with her husband who is continuing his service in the U.S. Navy.
In
her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and exploring the
sites of Hampton Roads.
