- Silva has more than 30 years of extensive experience at CHKD in various positions, including general-care nursing, critical-care nursing, resuscitation education, staff education, policies, procedures, accreditation, and various leadership roles.
- Participated in third-world country pediatric medical training missions.
Education
A native of Chesapeake, Va., Silva received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University and her masters degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.
