Background
- Dr. Foley joined the faculty at Eastern Virginia Medical School and CHKD in 1996.
- He is chief of the division of pediatric critical care and is the medical director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pharmacy and Critical Care Transport.
- He is also a founding partner of Children's Specialty Group, PLLC.

Education
Dr. Foley graduated from Carleton College before attending the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his fellowship in pediatric critical care at Children's Hospital of Buffalo.
