Did you know Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters offers a bone health clinic? In its first year, the CHKD Center for Bone Health has helped dozens of pediatric patients experiencing issues related to weak bones.
CHKD’s
Center for Bone Health is the only bone health clinic in Virginia exclusively for children. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of weak bones using a collaborative team of pediatric experts. This comprehensive approach focuses on reducing fracture risk, accelerating healing, and preventing re-fractures in our growing patients.
Patients receive comprehensive care from a team of pediatric bone health experts including pediatric endocrinologists, pediatric orthopedic surgeons, exercise physiologists and registered dietitians.
