Children's Surgical Specialty Group's Pediatric Surgery practice has recently welcomed Dr. Margaret McGuire to its group.
CHKD's team of pediatric surgeons provides diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical care for a wide range of diseases and conditions in children from birth to age 21.
A board-certified pediatric surgeon, Dr. McGuire has completed fellowships in pediatric surgery at All Children's Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine and surgical critical care at Children's National Medical Center. She is also certified by the American Board of Surgery in critical care.
Dr. McGuire earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, completed her surgical residency at the University of Massachusetts, and was a surgical research fellow at Boston Children's Hospital.
