Our specialists at CHKD provide many services including:
- Specialty programs that emphasize a team approach to care, with sub-specialty physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians and educational consultants.
- Critical care for newborns, children and adolescents.
- Clinical research trials.
- Pediatric emergency care.
Our specialists base their practices at CHKD, the state's only free-standing children's hospital. And they serve as faculty in the Department of Pediatrics at
Eastern Virginia Medical School.
