Leisten has been a nurse at CHKD for 20
years, beginning as a staff nurse on 8C. After a stint as a traveling nurse, she worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner for CHKD's surgical department for sixh years and has been with the gastroenterology department since 2012.
She sees gastrointestinal outpatients with a variety of conditions, from patients from gastroesophageal reflux disease to short gut.
