Bio
Prior to her graduate training, Takeshia Williams, Ph.D.,
was an elementary school teacher and developed a passion for mental health
awareness and advocacy. She completed her doctoral training in Virginia and
remains committed to pediatric mental health care in this community.
Dr. Williams is a licensed clinical psychologist and
enthusiastically joined the division of Child and Family Guidance and Consultation to provide
mental health and behavioral support to children and families during inpatient
hospitalizations.
