"I truly enjoy the primary care role. I get to see patients develop and I love watching them grow from newborns to crawlers to toddlers and beyond while helping guide parents through the fun and often difficult role of parenting."

Bio
Centric began her career at CHKD in 2004 in the nurse externship program and quickly found that working with children was her life's calling.
After finishing college, she worked for two years on
with the medical surgical unit and then two years as a resource pool
nurse, transitioning to any CHKD unit with nursing needs. While in the
resource pool, she returned to school to become a nurse practitioner.
She and her
family briefly moved to Hawaii, where she completed clinicals in downtown
Honolulu. After returning to the area, she worked
with the cardiac surgical team at CHKD in 2011 before transferring to
Chesapeake Pediatrics in 2012.
She and her husband love to play with their three girls and explore the region. They can be found at the parks, zoo, hiking or biking, and
also love to travel throughout the United States and are passionate about
preserving nature.
