Bio
Born and raised in Virginia, Brown worked as a nurse in CHKD's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit after obtaining her B.S. in Nursing from
Virginia Commonwealth University.
She received a master's degree in Pediatric Nursing
from the University at Buffalo, SUNY, then became part of CHKD's
Cardiac Surgery team as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, where she helped care
for children with congenital heart disease.
In 2013, Brown started
working in primary care pediatrics and loves the wonderful children that she
cares for every day. Outside of work,
she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
She also loves to participate and attend sporting events, bake, and read
books.
