Bio
After graduating from the University of
Iowa with a doctor of nurse practice degree, Hoegger served in the United States Air Force for three years,
which is how she was transplanted from the Midwest to the East Coast.
Her husband found his passion here
as a master brewer, so they decided as a family to stay on the East Coast. Says Hoegger: “Ever since moving to Hampton Roads, I have been impressed with
the professionalism and care that CHKD has shown to the pediatric population, which
is why I knew I wanted to work for them."
Hoegger and her husband live in
Newport News with their dog, Brewer. She loves baking, snowboarding,
travel, and exploring new breweries with her husband.
