Bio
Wilhelm has been a part of Pediatric Specialists since 2002, holds a doctor of nursing practice degree and is a certified pediatric
nurse practitioner for Pediatric Specialists.
She also
serves as adjunct assistant professor at Old Dominion University.
Wilhelm takes a holistic approach to medicine, looking at not only the disease, but the family situation as well. She relishes spending time with parents, listening to their feedback and discussing the best options available.
She completed the doctor of nursing practice at Old Dominion University with
a research focus on pediatric obesity related to nutrition counseling. She is
married and has two children. She enjoys teaching parenting classes and
writing.
She believes in treating each patient as she
would want her children to be treated and that going the extra mile sets her
apart.
