Bio
Gerlach grew up in Sterling, VA, and later attended Radford
University, receiving her bachelor’s In nursing in 2009. She and her husband moved to moved to the Hampton Roads area in 2012 and she began working in the emergency department while pursuing her nurse
practitioner degree.
There she found her passion for pediatrics and an interest
in neurosurgery. She obtained her nurse practitioner degree in 2015 shortly thereafter joined CHKD's neurosurgery team.
She enjoys sailing, cooking, running and spending time
with her family and friends as well as her two dogs, Gizmo and Hida.
