Bio
Edwards has been at CHKD since 2013, working primarily with the gastroenterology
team. She also works on the consultation and liaison team with inpatients.
She has a special interest in younger children with behavioral
problems and ASD, and is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy
(PCIT), an evidenced-based treatment for younger children with emotional and
behavioral disorders that promotes the parent-child relationship and changes
parent-child interaction patterns.
Edwards enjoys crisis work and
assessments.
When not working, she likes going to the beach, crossfit training, paddleboarding, and spending time with her dog.
