Start A Fundraiser

Mental Health Awareness Month Kickoff

National Alliance on Mental Illness Coastal Virginia will host a kickoff event by the fountain at Town Center Square. Local elected officials will speak about changes in mental health legislation .

It's Movie Night: Watch "Angst"

Watch a special showing of “Angst” – a documentary about anxiety – followed by a panel discussion. It’s National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. Today, everyone can take a pledge – created by the National Alliance on Mental Health – to end the stigma of mental illness, which deters people from seeking help. One-in-five children ages 13 to 18 have, or will have, a serious mental illness.
