Bio
Anderson, a certified clinical transplant coordinator, came to CHKD in 1992 to help children facing end-stage
organ failure along their journey of transplantation.
She has a masters of science degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University, where her studies concentrated on clinical nurse specialization in maternal-child health, pediatric nurse practitioner training, and developmental
disabilities program specialization.
In addition to providing coverage as a renal
transplant coordinator, Anderson serves as the administrator for the transplant
program and provides regulatory oversight of accreditation for donation and
transplantation at CHKD.
Outside the hospital, she loves to sing, work
outdoors and spend time with her family.
